Before you bid

Common project questions.

Is jack and bore the same as auger boring?

In common construction usage, jack and bore often refers to horizontal auger boring: casing is jacked forward while an auger removes material from inside. We review the specified method and ground conditions before quoting your crossing.

What information do you need for a quote?

Send the plans, specifications, location, casing diameter and wall thickness, crossing length, bid deadline and target schedule. Include bore profiles, geotechnical information, pit details, access limitations and permit requirements when available.

Do you work outside Alabama?

Yes. Our regional coverage includes Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi. National travel is available depending on the project. Contact us to discuss scope, timing and mobilization.

Can you install casing up to 72 inches?

Yes. Our team includes personnel experienced in steel casing installation up to 72 inches. Ground conditions, crossing length, available work area and the specified installation method determine the project approach.
